Construction General Laborer (Day Shift)

Jump into a hands-on construction support role where youll keep job sites movingload, unload, stage materials, and assist skilled trades. Start fast, work steady hours, and get paid weekly.

Job Details

• Compensation: $19.00/hour (weekly pay)

• Job Site Location: Salt Lake City, UT

• Work Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:30 AM5:00 PM (Day Shift)

• Job Type: Temporary

• Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Duties & Responsibilities

• Unload tools and materials, stage supplies, and keep the work area organized

• Prepare job site materials by stacking, moving, and positioning items as needed

• Set up and break down equipment to support daily work activities

• Follow instructions from the construction manager/supervisor to stay on task and on schedule

• Assist contractors and skilled trades (electricians, painters, craft workers, etc.) as needed

• Follow all job site safety rules and PPE requirements (hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, etc.)

• Clean and store tools/equipment properly at the end of the shift

• Complete assignments efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality

Qualifications & Requirements

Required

• Ability to work in the U.S.

• Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift

• Reliable attendance and a positive, safety-first attitude

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to complete pre-employment screening requirements, which may include a background check and/or drug screen (as applicable)

Preferred

• Prior general labor or construction site experience

• GED/High School Diploma

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
