Executive Vice President A rapidly scaling, private equity-backed provider of building technologies and integrated infrastructure solutions is seeking an Executive Vice President to lead one of its largest and most strategically important operating regions in the United States. The Executive Vice President (EVP) is a key senior leader responsible for overseeing multiple divisions within the Florida region. Reporting directly to the COO, the EVP ensures regional growth, operational excellence, and profitability while maintaining accountability to both divisional and corporate objectives. This role serves as the primary driver of performance for their region, aligning divisional leaders with company strategy, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring sustainable growth through operational discipline, customer focus, and financial stewardship. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute regional strategies that align with corporate objectives, focusing on sustainable growth and profitability. Act as the regional integrator, ensuring divisional strategies are consistent with company goals and enterprise-wide standards. Leverage industry knowledge and market insights to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges, and position the company competitively. Provide leadership and accountability for divisional performance, ensuring operations meet or exceed financial, safety, and quality standards. Oversee P&L management for the region, ensuring accuracy in budgeting, forecasting, and COGS. Drive operational excellence through process improvement, standardization, and accountability across divisions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for efficiency, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational readiness. Revenue Growth & Business Development Partner with the CRO and divisional sales leaders to execute growth strategies and achieve revenue targets. Support expansion into new verticals and markets within the region. Actively engage with key customers, contractors, and partners to strengthen relationships and secure long-term opportunities. Recruit, mentor, and develop divisional leaders, driving accountability and succession planning. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations across all divisions. Lead safety initiatives to drive a zero-incident culture and regulatory compliance. Oversee insurance and risk management practices within the region, safeguarding assets and reputation. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. Minimum of 15 years progressive leadership in the door, hardware, building materials or field service businesses such as security or HVAC, with multi-division or regional oversight. Proven success in driving growth, leading large teams, and managing complex, multi-site operations. Experience with mergers & acquisitions, and integrations. Deep understanding of Physical Security Integration, DFH, construction, and building materials markets. Demonstrated ability to manage multi-divisional, regional operations with P&L responsibility. Skilled at hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing teams. Proven ability to partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Procurement to drive results. Strong knowledge of P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Expertise in process improvement, standardization, and efficiency initiatives. Ensures backlog tracking, scheduling, and project delivery meet on-time, on-budget goals. Champion of safety culture and compliance, with strong risk mitigation skills. Results-driven, accountable, and aligned with the company’s core values (Hungry, Humble, Smart).
