Phlebotomist II – Annapolis, MD Schedule: Monday 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Tuesday – Friday 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM, rotational Saturday 7:00 AM – 11:30 AM Pay: $23.20 – $24.90 per hour. Salary offers based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and market factors. Eligible for annual performance bonus. Administer oral solutions per training. Research test/client information and verify orders using lab technology systems and approved tools. Navigate a computer and accurately enter data. Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments as mandatory. Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport as required. Perform non‑patient‑facing duties: inventory, supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and email. Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures. Assist with compiling and submitting statistics and data when required. Maintain phlebotomy logs on time, including maintenance and temperature logs. Complete online and in‑person training courses on schedule. Qualifications Required Work Experience Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Keyboard/data entry proficiency. Flexible availability for staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable). Required Education High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred; mandatory in CA, NV, WA. Must communicate effectively in English.
