We're looking for a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee facility operations, maintenance strategy, and infrastructure improvements at our Gainesville manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing leadership, technical expertise, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.What You'll DoAs the Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will lead the facility maintenance team and ensure our plant infrastructure and systems operate safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. You'll work closely with production, engineering, contractors, and leadership to keep our operations moving forward.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop the facility maintenance teamManage facility maintenance activities supporting manufacturing operationsCoordinate installation of new equipment and facility infrastructure projectsOversee contractors and vendors performing maintenance and repair workEstablish and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programsManage maintenance schedules, work orders, and regulatory complianceMonitor equipment performance to reduce planned and unplanned downtimeDrive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain company buildings, grounds, utilities, and fleet vehiclesEnsure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and facility regulationsPartner with production teams to improve operational reliability and efficiencyManage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventories, and resource planningWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsAssociate degree in Maintenance, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experienceMinimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentMinimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience leading maintenance teamsExperience with CMMS systems, SAP, or other ERP platformsExperience implementing preventive maintenance programsStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsPreferred QualificationsHVAC CertificationExperience in automotive or industrial manufacturing environmentsKnowledge of IATF 16949 quality standardsExperience managing facility infrastructure projects and contractor relationshipsSkills for SuccessStrong leadership and team development abilitiesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize multiple projects and deadlinesKnowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and HVAC systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematicsProficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systemsResults-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvementWork EnvironmentThis position works primarily in a manufacturing environment and requires regular exposure to machinery, moving equipment, noise, humidity, vibration, dust, and other industrial conditions.
