Labor and Employment Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney in Roanoke, VA. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive employment law advice and support across various HR and compliance areas, while actively participating in litigation processes. Duties Provide employment law advice on state and federal matters. Prepare and review employment-related documents. Support clients in HR, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and compliance. Execute all phases of litigation, including discovery and trial. Monitor legislation and provide strategic advice. Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff. Organize and monitor client files effectively. Requirements Minimum 2+ years of experience in employment law. Experience in client/employer advice and counseling preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in managing time and resources independently. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Bar admission in Virginia required.
