Job Overview Morse Moving & Storage is hiring a dependable Straight Truck Driver / Box Truck Driver for local moving jobs based in Romulus, Michigan . This is a non-CDL driving position offering competitive hourly pay, steady year-round work, and opportunities for long-term career growth. Compensation & Benefits $18–$26 per hour , based on experience Customer tips Performance and attendance bonuses Health care available 401(k) retirement plan Profit sharing College scholarship available Local routes only — home every night Year-round, steady employment Advancement opportunities into lead driver, trainer, or operations roles Supportive management focused on employee care and safety Key Responsibilities Safely operate a straight truck / box truck Drive local routes throughout Romulus and surrounding Metro Detroit areas Load and unload household and commercial items Secure and protect customer belongings during transport Provide professional, customer-focused service Maintain cleanliness and basic care of trucks and moving equipment Work as part of a team on residential and commercial moving jobs Qualifications Valid driver’s license ( CDL not required ) Chauffeur license preferred or willingness to obtain Clean or acceptable driving record Experience as a straight truck driver, box truck driver, mover, or delivery driver preferred Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Strong work ethic and positive attitude About Morse Moving & Storage Morse Moving & Storage is a locally operated moving and storage company serving Romulus, MI and the greater Metro Detroit region .
