Job Details

• Coverage Type: 5 eight-hour shifts per week

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

• Practice Setting: Inpatient

• EMR: Epic

• Average Daily Census: Approximately 10 patients

• Patient Age Group: Children and adolescents, ages 3-18

• Support Staff: 1 MD and 2 NPs

Coverage Dates

• November 30-December 4, 2026

• December 28, 2026-January 1, 2027

• January 11-15, 2027

• January 25-29, 2027

• February 22-26, 2027

• March 8-12, 2027

Responsibilities and Patient Population

• Round on patients on the inpatient psychiatric unit.

• Evaluate and manage children and adolescents ages 3-18.

• Treat common psychiatric conditions, including:

  • Suicidal ideation and related concerns

  • Depression

  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

  • Personality disorders

  • Defiance and behavioral concerns

Requirements

• Board Certification: Required

• License: Active Massachusetts license required

• Certifications: BLS required

• DEA: Active DEA required

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year
