Electrophysiology Technician

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 4x10 Days (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures in cardiac care, including but not limited to cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology mapping, and device implants. This role involves both day and occasional weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Monitor patients' vitals and ensure safety throughout procedures.
• Participate in electrophysiology studies, including mapping and ablation procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and comply with facility protocols.
• Perform call duties from 6 PM to 8 PM as needed.
• Float within the unit and assist in other necessary tasks as directed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrophysiology or related cardiac care field.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ability to interpret rhythm strips and manage arrhythmias.
• Experience with EP devices and systems is preferred.
