CT Technologist - Radiology

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join the Radiology department at SBSH. The role involves performing CT scans and diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images for physician interpretation while maintaining patient safety and comfort. CT Technologists are responsible for producing cross-sectional images of the body to assist in diagnosing a wide range of conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform CT imaging procedures following physician ordersPrepare and position patients for scansAdminister contrast media as requiredOperate CT scanners and ensure image qualityMonitor patient safety and comfort during proceduresMaintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records (PACS)Follow radiation safety and infection control protocolsAssist radiologists with diagnostic interpretation supportRequired QualificationsMinimum 1–2 years of CT Tech experienceARRT Certification (Radiography + CT preferred)New York State Radiologic Technologist LicenseBLS Certification (AHA)Experience with contrast injectionsNY license + ARRT are standard requirements for radiology roles at SBSH Diverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
