Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized respiratory care plans
• Conduct diagnostic testing including arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function tests (PFTs), EKGs, cardiac monitoring, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry
• Transport patients within the facility or between facilities as needed
• Revise therapy plans based on ongoing patient evaluation and clinical findings
• Provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours in accordance with department and facility policy
• Work standard shifts as well as flexible hours, including overtime exceeding 40 hours per week as required

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP)
• Active BLS certification
• Active ACLS certification
• Active PALS certification
• Active NRP certification
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
