Abacus Solutions Group is currently recruiting for a Security Supervisor in Groveport, OH.
The Warehouse Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of security within the warehouse environment. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, implements security programs, investigates incidents, and leads efforts to maintain a safe and secure workplace for all employees and visitors

Essential Duties & Responsibilitie

- olLead, coach, and schedule security staff (internal or contracte
- d)Monitor and enforce entry/exit procedures for employees, visitors, and vendo
- rsOversee badge access systems, visitor logs, and key control process
- esMonitor CCTV systems and investigate suspicious activity or policy violatio
- nsRespond to and manage security incidents (theft, trespassing, workplace disturbances, emergencie
- s)Conduct investigations and prepare detailed incident repor
- tsPartner with Safety, HR, and Operations teams on workplace incidents and policy enforceme
- ntEnsure compliance with company policies and applicable laws/regulatio
- nsCoordinate emergency response procedures (evacuations, alarms, drill
- s)Identify security risks and implement preventative measur
- esMaintain documentation, logs, and audit records related to security operatio
- nsSupport loss prevention efforts and inventory protection strategi
es
Qualificatio
- ns:3+ years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership ro
- le.Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics best practic
- es.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skil
- ls.Ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environme
- nt.Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obta
- in.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended perio
- ds.Must be able to lift up to 35 l
- bs.Ability to work in varying temperatures and warehouse conditio
- ns.Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standar
- ds.Experience with safety audits, incident investigations, and emergency response planni
- ng.Familiarity with warehouse operations, access control systems, and surveillance equipme
- nt.First Aid/CPR certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferr
- ed.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skil
- ls.Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressu
