Registered Nurse (RN) - Level III NICUWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This unit provides comprehensive care for critically ill and premature newborns, utilizing advanced respiratory therapies.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality nursing care to neonates requiring NICU support.Support a range of advanced respiratory therapies including mechanical ventilation, CPAP, and inhaled nitric oxide.Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions as needed.Maintain effective communication with healthcare team members and families.Float to the Well Baby Nursery as required.Unit InformationUnit Size: 41 beds comprising single, double, and triple rooms.Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:2 ratio typically, 1:1 for high acuity, and 1:3 for lower acuity patients.Diversity: Serves a broad urban population with a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.Schedule RequirementsWeekend coverage is preferred but not required.Holidays: Must be available for at least 1-2 weekends per month, varying with staffing needs.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of NICU experience.NRP and BLS certifications required.Experience with caring for neonates requiring NICU support strongly preferred.Applicants who meet the above qualifications are encouraged to apply for this rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable newborns and their families.Client Details Address 3401 N Broad St City Philadelphia State PA Zip Code 19140
