As a Security Officer – Gated Community Driving Patrol in Chula Vista, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will respond to security-related concerns with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, innovative team. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sat 12:00 PM - 08:30 PM Sun 12:00 PM - 08:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and observe conditions requiring attention. Monitor access points, observe visitor and vehicle activity, and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in accordance with site guidelines. Complete routine reports and incident documentation related to patrol activity, observed issues, and/or client-facing interactions during the shift. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
