This role involves working as a pharmacist within a specialty pharmacy setting based in Pocahontas, IA, with a focus on long-term care pharmacy duties. This travel position offers a duration of 13+ weeks and includes a schedule primarily Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with some weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Manage pharmaceutical care for long-term care patients.
• Prepare and dispense medications in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapy plans.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Participate in immunization administration, if certified.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current Iowa Pharmacy License or Iowa Temporary License required.
• Previous experience in retail or specialty pharmacy preferred.
• Immunization certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Location:

• Pocahontas, Iowa

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
• Some weekend shifts required
