The Infusion Registered Nurse provides safe administration and monitoring of intravenous therapies, biologics, blood products, and other specialty infusions in accordance with evidence based practice. This role includes patient education, management of infusion reactions, and coordination with providers and pharmacy services. Must be competent in the use of all equipment in specialty. On call may be required.
Education & Licensure- Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Alaska, other U.S. state required. Direct Hire must have applied for an Alaska nursing license at time of hire. Agency staff must have an active Alaska license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are both required
- Clinical competency required within 3 months and every 3 years.
- High Risk Competency required within 3 months and every year.
