Travel Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Travel Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) needed for a 13-week assignment in long-term care located near Holland, Michigan. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in patient care during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting during night shifts.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and clinical interventions.
- Monitor and administer medications, including IV therapy, per established protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations, including dementia and LTC-specific protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in Michigan
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- IV therapy certification
- Minimum of 2 years of LVN experience in long-term care settings
- Strong long-term care clinical skills
- Ability to work night shifts (7p-7a) and flexible with scheduling
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills:
- Dementia care certification
- Experience with IV therapy and dementia care
