Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Maryland or a compact license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care RN experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• C-EFM certification required at time of submission
• Experience with postpartum, antepartum, newborn assessment, and couplet care
• Strong charting system experience
• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
• Antepartum and external fetal monitoring experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for postpartum, newborn, and antepartum patients
• Support labor and delivery needs as appropriate within the unit scope
• Perform newborn assessments and postpartum care including breastfeeding support, discharge teaching, and patient education
• Assist with couplet care and family-centered care practices
• Monitor and document patient status accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote safe, compassionate care
• Float to support LDRP needs when required
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, scheduling expectations, and timely attendance standards
