Automotive Mechanics - Full Time Position Mavis Tires & Brakes is seeking full‑time Automotive Mechanics in the Lexington, SC area to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services. About the Position Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. Responsibilities include performing undercar repairs such as brakes, struts, and shocks; completing state‑mandated inspections; changing oil and filters; checking fluids; replacing worn parts; and dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires. Qualifications At least 18 years old Legally authorized to work in the United States Minimum of 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform required duties Extensive personal toolbox for performing undercar repairs Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair; capable of lifting and moving items weighing over 50 pounds State inspection license(s) – preferred ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) – preferred Equal Opportunity Employer Mavis is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
