Senior Lead Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead Full Stack Developer to join our innovative Digital Products cross-functional team, situated in IT partnering with Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex web applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability. You will build tools, workflows and platforms that empower user communities. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software solutions that meet organizational needs. Duties & Responsibilities Architectural Design: Develop and maintain the architectural vision for full stack applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and expertise in both front-end and back-end development Project Management: Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from concept to deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality applications Code Review: Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and security Collaboration: Work closely with senior management and stakeholders to define technical requirements and create robust solutions Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and integrate them into our development processes Prototyping: Lead the development of prototypes to validate concepts and explore innovative technologies Cross-Functional Work: Partner with internal or external UX/UI designers to deliver applications that align with user-centric design principles Scalable Solutions: Design and develop solutions that address the unique needs of The Potter’s House while ensuring they are scalable and adaptable for use by other organizations Mobile Applications: Develop scalable mobile applications alongside web solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of The Potter’s House and can be adapted for other organizations Technical Skills Front-End: Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js Back-End: Expertise in server-side languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or PHP Database Management: Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, such as SQL, NoSQL - MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB API Development: Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL API design and implementation Version Control: Proficient in using Git and collaborative development tools such as GitHub or GitLab Testing: Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks AI/ML Knowledge: Understand machine learning concepts and experience with transformers DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Mobile Development: Experience with mobile application frameworks and platforms such as React Native, Flutter, or native iOS/Android development Leadership Skills Team Management: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of developers Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and efficient solutions Decision-Making: Capable of making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment, balancing technical and business considerations Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience And Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 6 years of experience in full stack development, with a proven track record of successful project delivery Strong portfolio highlighting work on both front-end and back-end projects Experience in agile development methodologies and practices Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental/Vision insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
