Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Bank in Dorchester MA Monday - Friday 9 AM - 430 PM Starting Pay is $19.52 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training As a Security Officer in Dorchester, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.52 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 09:00 AM - 04:30 PM Tue 09:00 AM - 04:30 PM Wed 09:00 AM - 04:30 PM Thur 09:00 AM - 04:30 PM Fri 09:00 AM - 04:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, observe and report unusual activity, and document incidents according to site procedures. Maintain a professional presence while assisting with visitor direction, access inquiries, and other security-related needs. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
