Ecommerce Manager

Job Description: The CRM & Email Marketing Producer, D2C E-Commerce will report directly to the Director of Marketing, D2C eComm and be responsible for the hands-on build, QA, and deployment of email and SMS campaigns and lifecycle flows for our company's DTC e-commerce business. This role requires strong technical proficiency in the ESP (Klaviyo) — building templates, executing segmentation and personalization logic, troubleshooting rendering with HTML/CSS, and ensuring every send is accurate, on-brand, and on time. The Producer will partner closely with the CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Dev (product owner team), Brand, Product, and Merchandising in the Marketing team to turn campaign briefs into flawlessly executed, technically sound sends. Responsibilities: Campaign Production & Technical Execution Build and deploy email and SMS campaigns and lifecycle flows in Klaviyo, executing segmentation, targeting, and personalization logic as defined by the marketing strategy. QA every email and SMS campaign before deployment — testing rendering, links, personalization tokens, and tracking parameters across devices, clients, and inboxes. Build and troubleshoot email templates using HTML/CSS, working with the ESP's dynamic content and personalization blocks to bring creative and copy to life. Pull and report on basic campaign performance metrics (opens, clicks, conversion) from the ESP and GA, and maintain UTM tagging for accurate attribution. Maintain list hygiene and suppression lists and follow data privacy and messaging compliance requirements (e.g., CAN-SPAM, TCPA) across all sends. Manage the email and SMS send calendar, coordinating with brand and merchandising to ensure timely, accurate deployment. Escalate and help troubleshoot ESP or platform technical issues with developers and IT as they affect campaign execution. Stay current on Klaviyo features, email/SMS best practices, and deliverability standards, applying them to improve rendering quality and inbox placement. Lifecycle Marketing &Customer Engagement Build, launch, and optimize automated email and SMS triggers and flows including welcome, onboarding, cart abandonment, browse abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, promotional/event/occasion based campaigns, etc. Ensure communication via all lifecycle marketing is timely and relevant based on the consumer journey. Support the development of multichannel customer journeys that nurture engagement and drive repeat purchases. Build and execute email marketing campaigns that support customer acquisition, conversion, and retention goals. Monitor campaign performance and flag anomalies, tracking KPIs including engagement, conversion, CLTV, and churn. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with marketing, analytics, product, and technology teams to keep CRM and lifecycle campaigns running smoothly. Support cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution, helping translate marketing needs into technical requirements. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and agencies on campaign execution as needed. Support a culture of continuous improvement by testing subject lines, send times, and content variations across campaigns.
