About the Position

MS/Tele FLOAT RN

ASAP START!
36 hours
12hr shifts - weekend, holiday and call required
7p-7a
13 weeks
FLOAT: MS 4 Pav, MS 5 Pratt and the acute inpatient rehab (ortho/neuro)

Requirements

• BLS, ACLS REQUIRED
• RATIO: 1:5-6
• Meditech experience required
• Traveler must hold CURRENT NY license.
• Traveler should have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment.
• First time travelers will NOT be considered.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Common patient diagnosis: Septic, COPD, CHF, post op, general med surg, post-op plastics, ALC (waiting to go to nursing home)
• Required drips and medications: Heparin drips, mag and k riders
• Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles. Ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.
