Director of Nursing Services

We are hiring a Director of Nursing Services to join our dynamic care team at Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and their families. Cape Hertiage is a 123-bed skilled nursing facility. Salaried role up to $155,000 with weekly pay.

Responsibilities:

As a Director of Nursing Services, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of our Nursing Services Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility.

• Plan, develop, and implement clinical policies and procedures
• Determine staffing needs and make recommendations to the Administrator
• Oversee licensed nursing staff
• Develop and maintain an on-call program for the nursing department
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure quality of care
• Review resident satisfaction and develop plans to improve care

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program, B.S.N. preferred
• Active and unencumbered RN license in Massachusetts
• CPR certified
• Certification in Gerontology preferred
• At least one year of experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing and one year of nursing administration
