Materials Manager, Warehouse (Technical Hardware)

Overview Materials Manager (Warehouse & Technical Hardware) at Anduril Industries. What You’ll Do Develop and implement material management strategies, policies, and procedures to comply with regulations. Hire and train talent to manage material flow per Anduril guidelines. Develop processes that increase efficiency and reduce waste in materials management. Implement systems that align with Anduril Federal policies on government property and inventory management. Implement end-to-end material management measures (FIFO adherence, material variances, cycle time optimization, scrap/obsolescence management, cycle/physical counting, audits) to ensure inventory accuracy and mitigate stockouts or overstocking; develop and improve critical metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, production, manufacturing engineering, logistics, quality) to support demand forecasting, procurement planning, and timely material delivery. Coordinate with production planning to align material availability with schedules and meet customer demand on time. Analyze material usage trends and implement lean practices to optimize handling, storage, and distribution. Utilize ERP & WMS systems to track inventory, generate reports, and提供 data-driven insights for decision-making. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control in material management activities. Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team with guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster continuous improvement. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or equivalent work experience 5+ years in material management, inventory control, or supply chain roles in aerospace and/or defense manufacturing 2+ years managing a lead of supervisors, associates, or technicians Ability to be onsite, local to Santa Ana, CA or Costa Mesa, CA Preferred Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, manufacturing or related operations field Strong understanding of production rate, critical path analysis, and key warehouse fundamentals Understanding of receiving and deployment documentation for domestic and international shipments Ability to identify safety issues with warehouse vehicles Knowledge of AS9100 standards and OSHA laws Hands-on experience in warehouse operations with process and equipment troubleshooting Passion for employee development and training Experience supporting process development and equipment maintenance Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles Proficient with computers and data presentation Reliable, organized, detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication Experience ramping low-volume to high-rate operations Forklift certification Salary & Benefits US Salary Range: $108,000—$162,000 USD.
