PRN Radiation TherapistPay Range: $34.21 - $51.31A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a PRN Radiation Therapist to join our Radiation Oncology team. This role provides compassionate, patient-centered care while delivering safe and accurate radiation treatments as part of a collaborative oncology care team. The Radiation Therapist is responsible for the simulation and administration of radiation therapy treatments using CT simulation technology and linear accelerator equipment while following treatment plans prescribed by radiation oncologists.Position Specifics:Department: Radiation/OncologyCore Function: Rehab/Therapy/SleepSchedule: PRN - 8a-430pm is standard shift but by vary due to pt. volume, no weekend, call or holiday responsibilitiesFacility: O'Fallon Cancer CenterLocation: O'Fallon, ILCompensation aligned with your experienceFor more information regarding this position, please contact Lauren Aman at View email address on click.appcast.io Qualifications:Associates in Radiation Therapy or graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program is required.Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy is preferred.Associates Degree required for those graduating from Radiation Therapy program after 12/31/14.Experience Qualifications:One year experience in Radiation Therapy is preferred.Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:IEMA-Radiation Therapy (Illinois Emergency Management Association) is required in Illinois.Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days of hire.ARRT registered in radiation therapy or successful completion of a Radiation Therapy program and eligible to take the certification exam in Radiation Therapy as defined by the American Registration of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
