POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Kitchen Manager to support our back-of-house operations. This role works closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure smooth daily kitchen functions. The ideal candidate is a strong team player with leadership potential, a passion for food, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in quality, cleanliness, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Assist in supervising kitchen staff and supporting day-to-day back-of-house operations Help oversee food preparation, quality control, portioning, and presentation standards Support inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies Ensure compliance with all sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety regulations Train and support kitchen team members to maintain performance and consistency Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager, Executive Chef, and Front of House team to ensure seamless service Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper food handling standards throughout the kitchen Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and daily staffing needs Step in to lead shifts and support operations in the absence of the Kitchen Manager Lead by example and contribute to a positive, high-energy kitchen environment Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen leadership role (Lead Line Cook, Supervisor, or similar) preferred Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and culinary fundamentals Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain preferred High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training is a plus What We’re Looking For At Kane Brown's on Broadway, we use our unique experience and contributions to deliver more than value – we set new standards!
