Job Summary:

The Hyperbaric RN is responsible for providing specialized hyperbaric oxygen therapy and wound care to designated patients. The role involves operating hyperbaric equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering individualized wound management in collaboration with medical staff.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate all hyperbaric oxygen treatment equipment according to established protocols and training.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patients closely during treatment, adhering to UHMS, NFPA, and other regulatory guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of hyperbaric chambers and ancillary devices.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to emergency situations, participating in drills and emergency procedures.
  
  
• 
  Deliver personalized wound care, supporting preventive and supportive treatment plans.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, treatments, and patient progress.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current MD, RRT, or state license with a Virginia or compact license prior to submission.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a hyperbaric or wound clinician.
  
  
• 
  Complete a 40-hour Hyperbaric Treatment training approved by the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Hold preferred certifications such as CHT or CHRN.
