Program Specialist

Our client, a dedicated organization in the community service sector, is seeking a Program Specialist to join their team. As a Program Specialist, you will be supporting client services, community outreach initiatives, and more. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, compassion, and teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Program Specialist

Location: Traverse City, MI

Pay Range: $20.41/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

What's the Job?

• Manage attendance records and prepare reports for congregate meal programs.
• Process payments, deposits, and assist with client billing and funding sources.
• Support meal delivery operations, including route planning and safety checks. Serve as back-up driver to deliver meals as needed.
• Serve as the primary contact for congregate meal sites and provide technical assistance to site coordinators.
• Contribute to fundraising, community outreach, and compliance efforts to ensure program success.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience working with the public or senior populations preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with programs such as Canva and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency with computers and office equipment.
