Position Overview: The forklift operator is responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading, staging, and organization of raw materials and finished goods in a chemical warehouse. The individual ensures safety, PPE, and compliance.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, pack, and unpack materials
• Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments
• Operate forklift
• Relocate items within the warehouse
• Track inventory of incoming and outgoing items

The Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 18 years or older
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and perform basic math.
• Previous experience with the operation of fork trucks or other heavy machinery preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• 0 1 Year relevant work experience.
• Frequently reach up to seventy-two inches. Constantly bend, lift to 50 lbs., and twist while operating forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
