Human Resources Generalist (Benefits & Recruiting )

Location: Garden City, NY

What You'll Do

• Partner with employees and managers to support employee relations matters and help foster a positive workplace culture.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure new hires have a seamless start.
• Administer employee benefits programs and maintain accurate employee records.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent.
• Support day-to-day HR operations, compliance, and administrative functions.
• Assist with HR projects and initiatives as the company continues to grow.

What We're Looking For

• 2-3 years of Human Resources experience.
• Hands-on experience with recruiting and benefits administration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of employee relations and onboarding best practices.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ADP
• Background supporting construction, skilled trades, or field-based workforces.
• Experience working in a union environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Garden City, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
