Systems Engineer

IDR is seeking a Systems Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Warsaw, IN. In this role, youll support and secure manufacturing operational technology (OT) environments and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) applications across a global footprint. This is a chance to contribute to a large, complex manufacturing organization by deploying new OT technologies, improving reliability, and ensuring validated, well-documented change control.

Position Overview for the Systems Engineer:

• Provide global IT support for MOM initiatives, including ongoing integration, monitoring, and maintenance of MOM applications.
• Deploy and support security solutions within manufacturing environments, including Zscaler appliances and OT network/equipment segmentation.
• Install, configure, maintain, and perform system integration testing for machine/application operating systems at the manufacturing machine level.
• Troubleshoot machine-integrated application issues, develop technical specifications, and support new machine deployments and underlying infrastructure.
• Ensure quality-relevant system changes are documented and executed according to validation guidelines and established change-control processes, with up to 40% global travel.

Requirements for the Systems Engineer:

• 2+ years of experience supporting, integrating, and troubleshooting manufacturing machines and MOM applications
• Hands-on experience securing manufacturing/OT environments, including Zscaler security appliances
• Experience with OT equipment segmentation and applying security controls in industrial environments
• Proven ability to deploy/configure OT technologies and perform system integration testing in manufacturing settings
• Strong adherence to validated change-control processes, documentation standards, and quality-relevant system practices
