**Overview** As a Part Time Retail Store Associate at Office Depot, your part-time role is vital to our continued success in today's retail landscape. The essential functions of this position may require you to consent to periodic comprehensive background checks conducted by a third-party. **Primary Responsibilities:** + **Customer Centric Experience:** + Supports a positive customer-centric experience by proactively acknowledging and engaging every customer. + Utilizes and understands the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional products and/or services. + Maintains awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs. + **Store Operations Commitment:** + Consistently maintains store and print department appearance to company guidelines and keeps a neat, clean, well-stocked environment. + Adheres to all standards related to signage labeling and merchandise presentation. + Follows the established sorting and stocking guidelines and completes freight processes. + Ensures freight sorting area is organized and setup in accordance with guidelines. + Scans, investigates, and fills inventory lows and outs daily. + **Print and Tech Expertise:** + Works to continually develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through sales and service tools provided which includes successful completion, at minimum, of Tech, Print, and other applicable training. + Continued education in these areas is expected, up to and including designated certifications, if required. + **Sales Techniques:** + Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices; and supports the company's loss prevention efforts. + Performs other duties as assigned. **Education and Experience:** + High School diploma or equivalent education preferred. + No previous experience required. + Must possess basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology for information, and to access information necessary to complete the job. + Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills which are necessary to establish a selling relationship with clients and other associates. + Must be able to read, count and write to accurately complete documentation, utilize training tools and process inventory. + Client focused, positive and engaging, action oriented, demonstrates a passion for the brand, products, services, and solutions **About The ODP Corporation:** The ODP Corporation (NASDAQ:ODP) is a leading provider of products and services through an integrated business-to-business (B2B) distribution platform and omnichannel presence, which includes world-class supply chain and distribution operations, dedicated sales professionals, online presence, and a network of Office Depot and OfficeMax retail stores.
