Mid-Level Public Companies Associate Securities and Capital Markets

Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly motivated associate with four to six years of experience to join its Public Companies (Securities and Capital Markets) practice in Raleigh, NC. The candidate will advise public companies on securities law compliance, SEC reporting, and corporate governance matters, and lead significant portions of capital markets transactions. Duties Advise on securities law compliance and SEC reporting. Manage corporate governance matters, including executive compensation disclosures. Lead capital markets transactions, including registered securities offerings and private placements. Collaborate with attorneys across complementary practice areas. Develop client relationships and assume increasing levels of responsibility. Requirements Four to six years of law firm experience. Experience with public and private debt offerings and strategic financing transactions. Ability to manage substantial workstreams and interact directly with clients. Experience supervising junior attorneys and coordinating transaction teams preferred. Education Strong academic credentials. Certifications Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
