Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit position requiring a CO or compact RN license and current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.

Details

• Hospital-based Intermediate Care Unit setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week across 3 days per week
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic EMR for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required, no pending license accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale, none may expire prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• TNCC certification preferred
• Prior Registered Nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients
• Perform health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient well-being
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system and abide by service behavior standards
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
