Location: Cherokee Nation, Tahlequah, Oklahoma , Region: Cherokee Nation Contract Dates: July 13, 2026 – September 12, 2026 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Call Requirement: 6 days per month, including 1 weekend per month Are you a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician looking for your next rewarding assignment? Cherokee Nation Outpatient Health Center is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to support a busy surgical services department that cares for both adult and pediatric patients. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with advanced surgical equipment while making a meaningful impact on patient care. Responsibilities Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment. Maintain compliance with infection prevention and sterilization standards. Process and prepare specialty instrumentation and pediatric trays. Ensure proper documentation and quality assurance practices. Support operating room and procedural areas with timely instrument turnaround. Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled. Required Certifications Current CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) certification. Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience Requirements Pediatric tray experience required.
