Property Accountant

This is an opportunity to join a small accounting team in a growing real estate company located in NE Ohio. General Function: Performs a range of general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support functions in a commercial real estate, development and management and maintenance corporation. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and submit customer invoices Code, post and receipt payments Prepare and coordinate deposit activities Perform all necessary account, bank and other reconciliations Check, verify and process payable invoices Sort, code and enter accounts payable data Maintain vendor files Requirements: Proven accounting experience (real estate experience preferred) Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel software; familiarity with Yardi a plus.
