DevOps Engineer

Job Description We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced environment supporting a growing eCommerce platform, where performance, scalability, and reliability are critical. You'll play a key role in optimizing infrastructure, enhancing monitoring capabilities, and driving continuous integration and deployment practices. If you're passionate about automation, system performance, and building resilient environments, this role offers strong technical ownership and impact. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using tools like Splunk and Dynatrace
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve deployment processes
- Support cloud-based or on-prem infrastructure to ensure uptime and scalability
- Automate workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reliability
- Optimize system performance for a high-traffic eCommerce environment
- Identify and implement improvements in monitoring, alerting, and incident response
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines)
- Strong experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace
- Experience supporting high-traffic or eCommerce platforms preferred
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
