Job Summary The Hood Cleaning Technician is responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining commercial kitchen exhaust systems and fire suppression components in accordance with NFPA standards and company safety procedures. This role ensures fire safety compliance, system performance, and customer satisfaction through high-quality service and professionalism. Job Responsibilities Clean and degrease commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ducts, fans, and filters Inspect kitchen fire suppression systems for visible issues and report deficiencies to management Protect customer property by properly covering equipment and maintaining clean work areas Operate pressure washers, steam cleaners, chemicals, and hand tools safely and effectively Install access panels as needed to complete cleanings Perform before-and-after photo documentation of work performed Complete service reports and required compliance paperwork accurately Follow all OSHA, NFPA 96, and company safety guidelines Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition Communicate professionally with customers and team members Work overnight, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required #J-18808-Ljbffr The Hiller Companies
