Food Service Worker, BMS Part-time

Biddeford Schools are seeking a Food Service Worker for part-time 5.5 hours per day with family-friendly schedules, rewarding and meaningful work, and supportive teamwork. Brief job duties include preparing foods as directed, cleaning all work areas, serving lunches in the serving line, preparing items for the next day's meals, and serving as a cashier at the Point of Sale system and recording sales and meal counts.

Certification/License: Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education within six weeks of starting work. Live and work in the Biddeford, Maine community, located along the Atlantic coastline with miles of beaches and views of the Saco River to its west. Less than 20 minutes south of the Greater Portland Area and less than two hours north of Boston. Home to a growing population of diverse residents, picturesque downtown, Maine's youngest city with a median age of 29 in the historic downtown, thriving economy, and many recreational opportunities, including fishing, hiking, biking, public parks, and kayaking.
