Residential Driver

The Residential Driver will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to customers. The driver will collect solid waste or recyclables on curbside and/or backdoor routes and transporting to post-collection facilities. Key responsibilities include operating a residential/recycling collection truck, loading waste into the vehicle, operating equipment to compact trash, and maintaining route quality standards. The driver must follow all safety standards and equipment checks, maintain a clean vehicle, and report accidents or incidents immediately. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a commercial driver's license, and at least one year of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate. The driver must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and working in various weather conditions. The driver will work in an outdoor environment, often in loud conditions and around moving mechanical parts.
