Property Maintenance Technician

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay: $20 and up/hour

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team at a residential apartment complex. This position is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and appearance of the property while providing excellent service to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartments and common areas
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance issues
• Prepare vacant units for new residents (turnovers)
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools
• Assist with groundskeeping as needed (trash removal, light landscaping, etc.)
• Respond to maintenance emergencies when required

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience preferred (apartment or residential setting a plus)
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Valid driver's license preferred
