Commercial Service SpecialistThis role will support and manage the day-to-day operations and service of commercial banking clients. Including, but not limited to; servicing of treasury products, loans, and deposits by handling client requests while working hand in hand with internal teams, including implementations, treasury team, and banking officers. As the primary contact, you will be a vital part of the client’s relationship to help deliver growth and opportunity by creating a trusting relationship. The shift for this position is 10-7pm central.How you will spend your time:Serve as primary point of contact for commercial clients via phone or email to support day-to-day servicing needsDevelop a relationship with the client proactively to identify solutions to problems and improve the client experienceHelp to onboard new checking, savings, and CD accounts for clientsUnderstand the client’s expectations and needs to serve as the point person for all their banking needsRespond with a sense of urgency to all internal and external client calls, questions and/or concernsWork in collaboration with the Relationship Team while setting clear expectations regarding deliverables and due datesEnsure The Unparallelled Customer Experience (TUCE) through quality service and coordination of client needs with other functions as needed and serve as liaison for clientProvide client point of contact for day-to-day banking needs, questions, research, etc.Manage resolution of client needs by identifying and coordinating appropriate bank resources by partnering with internal departments to ensure client needs are met and problems are followed through to resolutionIdentify opportunities proactively for clients to self-serveWe are excited to talk to you if you have:High school education or equivalent and 3+ years proven customer service experience OR any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background preferably in banking or financial servicesExcellent professional verbal and written communication skillsFlexibility and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround requestsStrong organizational skillsAttention to detailEffective time management skillsDisciplined self-motivationResolution-based problem solving abilitiesAbility to work independently as well as in team environmentsGood interpersonal and networking skills to work with other internal areasCompensation Ranges:US Employees in California, Washington DC, New Jersey, and New York:$62,310 - $90,760US Employees in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin:$56,890 - $83,080US Employees in all other states not listed above:$51,480 - $75,410The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s good faith and reasonable estimate based on its budget and what it expects to be the starting pay for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
