Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: Contract Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ICU License: Valid Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 2 years of ICU experience - Charting system experience Description: The staff nurse provides direct care to patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This ensures that the physical, psycho-social, safety, rehabilitative, and learning needs of patients and their families are addressed. This function is performed in collaboration with nursing peers and co-workers, attending physicians, and allied support services. This position is responsible for managing the care of assigned patients and directing the activities of ancillary staff. Weekend rotation is required.
