Floor TechnicianJoin our team at Mt Holly Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as a Floor Technician.Full-time Evenings. Must work every other weekend and be flexible if dayshift needed. Same Day Pay! Range: $15.92/hr. - $19.50/hr. Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Floor Technician helps ensure our community reflects the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.Responsibilities for Floor Technician:Perform proper floor care procedures, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing of hard surface floors.Operate industrial floor care equipment safely and effectively to clean and maintain all types of floor surfaces.Clean and maintain carpeted and upholstered surfaces using appropriate methods, including shampooing, vacuuming, spot cleaning, damp cleaning, and extraction.Perform routine maintenance and restorative care for all floor types to ensure a clean, safe, and polished appearance throughout the facility.Follow all safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory requirements while performing duties.Properly collect, handle, and dispose of municipal solid waste, infectious waste, and pharmaceutical waste in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.Report any maintenance, safety hazards, or equipment issues promptly to supervisory staff.Support overall housekeeping and environmental services operations as needed to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.Qualifications for Floor Technician:Previous experience as a Floor Technician or in a related environmental services role preferred.Working knowledge of floor care equipment, chemicals, and maintenance techniques preferred.Ability to follow safety procedures and use appropriate precautions due to physical and environmental risks.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Our Core Values in Action:Passion – Taking pride in maintaining clean, polished, and welcoming environments that enhance resident comfort and safety.Respect – Performing all duties with care and consideration for residents, staff, and shared community spaces.Excellence – Delivering high-quality environmental services through skilled workmanship, safety awareness, and attention to detail.Benefits for Floor Technician:Tuition reimbursementEmployee referral bonusHealth, vision, and dental benefits401(k) with matchEmployee engagement and culture committeeCompany-sponsored life insuranceEmployee assistance program (EAP) resourcesJoin our team at Mt Holly Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, a 180-bed Sub-Acute, and Long-Term Care facility where compassion and quality care are at the heart of everything we do.
