HNW Tax Manager
New York, NY (flexible work options available)
Overview:
This role focuses on working with high-net-worth individuals, families, and related entities, providing both tax compliance and advisory support. You’ll have the opportunity to lead engagements, mentor staff, and play a key role in client relationships and planning strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and review complex tax engagements for individuals, trusts, estates, and partnerships
- Oversee tax planning and advisory work for high-net-worth clients
- Review tax returns, projections, and related deliverables across multiple entity types
- Ensure deadlines are met and maintain strong client communication
- Conduct tax research and provide clear recommendations
- Respond to tax notices and support clients through audits or inquiries
- Delegate work to staff and provide mentorship and guidance
- Support business development efforts and client growth initiatives
Qualifications:
- CPA required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients
