Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 18 months of permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience required. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: - Must have 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for. - Reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty required. - Required certifications must be active and in hand. - Must be nicotine free; a negative 10 panel drug screen required. Description: This is an auto offer for a position requiring night shifts of three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Selected candidates will be expected to provide competent care for patients in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in their specialty. Those with previous charge experience and who can work well in a team environment will be preferred. Regular patient assessments and adherence to clinical protocols will be essential responsibilities. Candidates must have active and valid certifications prior to submission for consideration. Successful candidates will complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing during orientation. Candidates will receive a maximum of two attempts to pass these assessments. A background check will be conducted; any relevant issues will be reviewed by the facility. Travelers are required to complete necessary documentation promptly. Candidates must be able to adhere to facility policies and requirements as outlined.
