Meanwhile, you will have the support and resources of the fastest-growing brand in the construction industry to make it happen.Your role on our team:The Quality Technician II is responsible for inspecting the quality of product and material, following procedures to ensure part and material conformance per specifications. The Quality Technician should be driven to seek out, disposition, and correct problems, and can work with minimum supervision.You will be disruptive through these duties and responsibilities:Inspect incoming material and parts per quality specification after being receivedCreate and complete Quality Standard reports (NCMR's, SCAR's and CAR's) and enter information into databasePerform product and workplace audits with documented resultsControl scrap or rejected parts until disposition is determinedCollect and prepare samples for shipment or testingUse gauges and other equipment to measure tolerances and dimensionsUtilize MRB (material review board) processesMeetings & AdminReport GenerationCommunication/Follow-upPractice 5S and SafetyAble to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assignedThe tools you'll bring with you:High school or GED diploma requiredForklift/reach truck driver preferredLeadership experience preferredStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational skills and time management skills requiredMust have working knowledge of basic measuring equipmentHigh attention to detailAbility to perform work per instructions and within reasonable timeMust possess basic math and basic computer skillsWorking conditions:Manufacturing plant & distribution environmentStand for long periods of time while performing the audits.Must be able to lift 40 pounds.Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxesWe provide these great perks and benefits:Robust health, dental and vision insurance plansGenerous 401 (K) savings planEducation assistanceOn-site wellness, fitness center, food, and coffee serviceAnd many more, check out our benefits site HERE.Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
