The Global Collections Specialist is responsible for collections of outstanding accounts receivable dollars from a global customer base and all other aspects of collections, resolving customer billing problems and reducing accounts receivable delinquency. Assist with developing and preparing reports to executive management. Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

• Work with Management to design and implement different structures, strategies, and procedures that will enable the company to exceed its goals.
• Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
• Contacts clients prior to the payment due date in an effort to identify and resolve payment delay matters before the invoice ages past due.
• Resolves client billing problems, contracts, and rescues accounts receivable delinquency, applying good customer service in a timely manner.
• Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports.
• Works with the Collections management team to implement process improvements and policies that support accurate invoicing.
• Emails/Mail correspondence to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
• Identifies and reports collection issues to management that contribute to account delinquency
• Works closely with project managers, sales teams, collections manager, billing and cash posting teams.
• Demonstrated use of effective collections techniques and negotiation skills while keeping and improving customer relations
• Ability to present information clearly and effectively when addressing individuals or groups of people.
• Ensures compliance with applicable internal policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Thorough knowledge of international collection techniques, policies, and procedures
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to coach others and provide constructive feedback

Graduate degree preferred in Finance, Business, or Accounting.

• At least three years of global collections experience.
• Strong understanding of all accounts receivable processes, including billing and payment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, written, and time management skills. Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy. Creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Costpoint GetPaid applications a plus.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
