Online Nursing Tutor

Virtual Vocations Inc

To support student success in nursing education, the part-time Online Nursing Tutor will conduct remote tutoring sessions using the Socratic method to foster critical thinking skills while being available primarily during evenings and weekends. Key responsibilities Facilitate online tutoring sessions using video, audio, and chat features to engage students effectively Develop and implement strategies that encourage student independence and critical thinking Respond promptly to session requests and maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate student needs Required qualifications Advanced knowledge in nursing gained through an undergraduate or graduate degree or relevant professional experience Experience in tutoring or teaching methodology, preferably at the college level Excellent academic performance in nursing-related coursework Access to reliable high-speed Internet and a quiet environment for conducting sessions Availability to tutor a minimum of 2-5 hours per week during peak academic semesters
