Field Access Manager - Baton Rouge, LA

Insmed seeks a Field Access Manager for its Patient Services team covering Baton Rouge, LA and Jackson, MS. The role involves resolving patient access barriers to prescribed treatments, educating healthcare provider offices on reimbursement processes, and collaborating across internal teams to support patients with serious and rare diseases.

Responsibilities

• Resolve patient-specific access barriers to Insmed products as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Educate healthcare provider office staff on prior authorization, appeals processes, forms, and reimbursement procedures
• Identify and resolve patient access and reimbursement issues within assigned geography
• Monitor patient start trends and collaborate with Market Access team to address emerging access challenges
• Maintain current repository of plan-specific reimbursement criteria, forms, and submission procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years hands-on experience in reimbursement, patient access, market access, specialty pharmacy, or physician/system account management
• Experience navigating payer reimbursement processes, preferably Medicare Part D
• Experience with specialty products through specialty pharmacy networks and HCP offices
• Strong understanding of HIPAA and state patient privacy laws
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication skills

Compensation: $155,000-$201,500 annual
